Finery Markets is set to enhance its platform with the upcoming "Authorized Trading" feature for FM Liquidity Match and FM White Label users. This feature allows traders or brokers to execute trades on behalf of clients, streamlining operations for high-touch or voice trading desks by integrating automated hedging and spread management for instant execution. It's particularly beneficial for managing trades across different time zones or when clients are unavailable.
"Authorized Trading" offers a blend of control and flexibility within set limits, which is essential in volatile markets. This comprehensive solution spans front office (real-time market data, RFQ), mid-office (risk management, financing), and back office (compliant reporting, flexible settlements), thereby enhancing the overall trading infrastructure to meet the sophisticated needs of institutional crypto players.
Additionally, we are on track to roll out the Request for Quote (RFQ) feature this quarter, which was introduced last month. RFQ will complement “Authorized Trading” by allowing users to request quotes from multiple liquidity providers via a GUI or an API, enhancing transparency and enabling traders to select the best prices available across different trading modes.
Constanta Finance, a new crypto broker from the Czech Republic, recently commenced operations leveraging Finery Markets' FM Marketplace. Recommended by an industry player, Constanta chose our platform for its robust trading infrastructure that supports a variety of crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto asset pairs, focusing on stablecoins-to-EUR pairs. This initial selection was pivotal as they sought a reliable and regulated trading environment.
The partnership with Finery Markets has been instrumental for Constanta, providing them with a user-friendly interface and extensive support during the onboarding process. The firm particularly valued the security aspects, bolstered by Finery Markets' SOC-2 Type 1 certification, which played a crucial role in their decision to partner with us. As Constanta looks to expand, they are considering transitioning fully to Finery Markets' services to streamline their operations further and explore additional solutions such as FM Liquidity Match.
In a recent episode of The Flow, Konstantin Shulga, CEO of Finery Markets, engaged with Rob Hadick, a General Partner at Dragonfly, to discuss the evolving role of venture capital in the crypto space. This conversation explored how the market structure is adapting post-FTX and the critical role stablecoins and venture capital play in fostering innovation and adoption in the crypto industry.
Rob provided insights into the transition from traditional finance structures to innovative, hybrid models that incorporate the best aspects of on-chain and off-chain systems. They also discussed the significant impact of Bitcoin ETFs on institutional adoption and the strategic investment approaches that venture capital can take to nurture long-term market growth and stability.
This September, Finery Markets completed a strategic upgrade by migrating our trading servers to Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Tokyo. This move aligns our infrastructure with major global crypto price discovery centers, enhancing our market data processing and trade execution capabilities. The migration to AWS has notably reduced latency and improved data handling, offering a substantial competitive advantage to our clients.
Utilizing AWS's scalable compute service, EC2, and Amazon Aurora for database management, Finery Markets ensures high performance and reliability. This infrastructure enhancement allows us to support a vast array of trading instruments and manage significant trading volumes daily, affirming our commitment to providing state-of-the-art services to our clients.
We are excited to announce well-deserved promotions within the Finery Markets team. Egor Morozow has been promoted to Director of Customer Solutions, recognizing his outstanding dedication and innovative approach to enhancing client relations. Alongside him, Anastasia Karpinska steps up as Head of Engineering, where she plans to focus on team development, boosting system efficiency, and enhancing cybersecurity measures.
Both leaders are committed to propelling Finery Markets forward by refining our trading architecture and expanding our SaaS offerings, ensuring our technology and customer service continue to lead the industry in innovation and reliability. Join us in congratulating them on their new roles!
