Hardware Security Module (HSM) Meaning
A Hardware Security Module (HSM) is a "Specialized Physical Device" designed to "Safeguard and Manage" "Digital Keys" for "Strong Authentication" and "Cryptographic Processing." Unlike a standard server, an HSM is "Tamper-Resistant" and "Hardened" against both "Physical" and "Cyber" attacks. It is the "Fort Knox" of the "Digital Infrastructure," used by "Banks," "Exchanges," and "Governments" to store their most "Critical Secrets."The primary advantage of an HSM is "Key Isolation." The "Private Keys" are generated inside the device and "Never Leave" the secure hardware.
