Can you tell us a bit about your background before joining Finery Markets?

I had the opportunity to work in the traditional banking sector, where I was responsible for revolutionizing traditional loan products by digitizing them. It was an exhilarating challenge to create and introduce a new point-of-sale financing product tailored for B2B e-commerce. As I delved deeper into the potential that innovative technologies such as blockchain could bring to our lives, I decided to explore fresh opportunities in the digital asset space.

What do you do at Finery Markets on a typical day?

On a typical day, I communicate with our clients and partners, explore solutions, and work with statistics to ensure that our products meet market demands and stay ahead of the competition in the fast-changing crypto environment. While collaborating with the team, I transform chaotic information I gained from discovery into layouts and tech requirements for new features.

What do you think is often overlooked or misunderstood in product development?

When I first started as a product manager, I focused on enhancing my core PM hard skills, such as agile frameworks, metrics, and UX patterns. However, now I am focusing on understanding the industry, the business strategies of competitors, and trends in the field. A senior product manager should be an expert in the industry they work in and pay more attention to enhancing their soft skills.

How have recent events in the crypto world impacted your role and mindset?

Well, as I reflect on the recent happenings in the crypto world, I am reminded of the valuable lesson taught by Nassim Nicholas Taleb in his book "The Black Swan". It's crucial to always be ready for the unexpected. It has also made me think that the crypto industry is now moving towards the next cycle of evolution. Marker sentiment may change, but the technology and sharp minds of entrepreneurs and developers remain constant.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I have always had a thirst for adventure and a desire to try new things. Whether it is exploring a new country or taking up a new sport, I am always eager to take on a challenge. Currently, I am preparing to embark on a diving course. Additionally, I am considering a journey to travel across the entire USA, fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine.

If you weren't working in your current field, what would you want to do instead?

I am passionate about creating useful and innovative IT products that people use every day. If I were not working in my current field, I would love to explore the world of industrial design. It would be exciting to see my ideas come to life in the form of tangible products.

What are you most looking forward to in the crypto industry this year?

As I watched the world of finance slowly but surely embrace crypto, it became clear that a bridge was forming between the old guard and the new wave of digital currency. It was exciting to see the two worlds collide, and I couldn't help but feel that something big was on the horizon. The potential for innovation and progress at this intersection was immense, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held.
