Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and work alongside our current DevOps specialist. We operate as a single unit rather than a group of individual contributors, so we are looking for a partner who values collaboration, open communication, and shared ownership of our infrastructure.

Our Tech Stack

• Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, etc.), Terraform, Ansible.
• Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, Docker-compose
• CI/CD: GitLab CI.
• Databases & Storage: PostgreSQL (RDS), ClickHouse.
• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Alertmanager, Grafana, Kibana.

What We Expect From You

• Experience: 4+ years in DevOps/SRE roles
• Kubernetes Expertise: Strong background in troubleshooting K8s clusters, debugging applications, profiling, and basic network administration.
• Systems Thinking: Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Data-Driven Focus: Ability to proactively use performance metrics, logs, and monitoring data to inform decisions and validate infrastructure changes.
• Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but remains highly autonomous in execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Evolution: Partner with our DevOps engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant environments in AWS.
• CI/CD Optimization: Develop and refine GitLab CI pipelines to ensure seamless and automated code delivery.
• Data Systems Operations: Manage and tune PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Observability & Monitoring: Maintain and improve our monitoring stack based on VictoriaMetrics and the ELK stack.
• Automation & Testing: Write and maintain Ansible roles/modules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to debug complex issues, profile applications, and provide architectural guidance.
